About the Arawak Community Trust

We provide a vehicle to support the Black Community to maintain traditions and share those traditions with the wider community through food, music, carnival, games, poetry, literature and more.

Arawak Community Trust (ACT) was formed in early 2017 as a means of consolidating two other community enterprises: Arawak Radio and Family Sports Funday & Caribbean BBQ. The creation of ACT was a step to ensure the sustainability of both enterprises and the creation of other services for the Black Community.
