CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY

Arawak Community Trust's Children's Christmas Party is, in part, inspired by the legacy of the Coventry West Indian Association Children's Christmas Party. The Association held their first party in 1957, however, over the years it stopped. ACT took the baton and since 2019 has held this annual affair.

The event has gotten bigger with each year, as we welcome 100 local children to the Coventry Caribbean Association for a celebration, not to be forgotten. Over the years, we've welcomed Princess Tiana, Batman, Princess Elsa, and Princess Anna to say hello to the kids and take pictures, and of course, we always get a visit from Father Christmas himself!

The hall is filled with a bouncy castle, games, a grotto, and music provided one of our own community DJs. We also provide hot food for all the children, making sure no one goes hungry. Each child also leaves with a present from Father Christmas, as the cherry on the day.

This is undoubtedly our biggest event of the year, and we are wholly self-funded. Any donations are appreciated, and if you're interested in sponsoring us, get in touch.
